I have completed my first week at work and I LOVED it!!! (I am also exhausted!) I have five to six children that are one year old. They are so much fun and each one of them has such a different personality. They keep me busy every day. Let me introduce them to you. There is Alex. He will be turning two in April and he is a really smart boy. He talks to me the most. (granted unless you speak toddler you can't always understand what he is saying. I am needing to brush up on my "toddler" but being "thrown back" into it full time definitely helps with this. It is definitely true, you learn a foriegn language best by living in it). Then there is Dustin. He will also be turning two in April. He reminds me of the boy from the Andy Griffith show. He is a very compassionate child. Dominick will be two in May, he is probably my most "kick back" child. When we are sitting on the floor reading books, he will often come and sit right next to me the whole time. He LOVES to swing on the swing. He is very sweet. Yaselyn (pronounced Jocelyn) is about one and a half. She has three older siblings, so she kind of tries to "run" the classroom. She definitely had a mind of her own and is NO pushover. Isabel is beautiful. She turns two soon but I can't remember exactly when that is. She only comes to my class two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is very sensitive and also sweet. My youngest child is David and he is 13 months old. He is really fun to have around. He is still trying to learn the "ropes" in the toddler classroom. It is a lot different from the baby room that he is used to.
It is ironic because people will often tell me how blessed these kids are to have me, but I feel like it is the other way around. I am blessed to have them be part of my life. I get to be "one of those people" that LOVES their job and God teaches me so much about myself each day through these kids. He also shows me how to be greatful for each child and their strengths that they each have. Not to mention that fact that I get unlimited hugs and kisses throughout the day. What a great job I have!

What a treasure. I used to be scared to death of babies and toddlers. Now that I have one of my own, I think that job would be challenging and fun! Of course I JUST started parenting a new toddler.
I'm so thankful that you're in a job you love! Personally, being around those kids would make me nuts!!! Probably why I have dogs. Peace to you, Stacey!

Congratualtions on your new job!
I am very happy for you and so proud of you!
Your gifting is caring for children.
My four children have been blessed by that gift for how many years now?! :) They do wish their Auntie Stacey/godmother lived next door!
And of course, I do too! I love you!
That is so exciting Stacey! It's not often that people LOVE their jobs! Praise God!
